Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers to the questions we hear most often — from teachers and from schools.

Start by completing our Teacher Interest Form on the Get Started page. Once we receive your submission, we'll review your details and reach out with relevant guidance and information. There's no fee, no commitment, and absolutely no pressure to take any further steps.
No. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or outcomes of any kind.

Our role is to provide guidance and facilitate connections — what happens next is entirely between you and any school you choose to engage with. We are not an employment service, and we do not represent you in any application or hiring process. Anyone who suggests otherwise is misrepresenting our service.

No. We are not a migration agent and we do not process visa applications of any kind.

We can share general, publicly available information about work authorisation pathways in Australia — but for specific visa advice, you must consult a registered Australian migration agent or contact the Department of Home Affairs directly. We will always be clear about where our role ends.

AITSL — the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership — is the national body responsible for assessing overseas-trained teacher qualifications in Australia.

Most Australian states and territories require internationally trained teachers to have their qualifications assessed through AITSL (or through a relevant state-based authority) before they can apply for teacher registration. This is a step you will need to research and initiate independently.

We can point you toward publicly available AITSL resources to help you understand the pathway — but we cannot manage or process this assessment on your behalf.

We recommend visiting the official AITSL website and the teacher registration authority in the Australian state or territory you are considering.

Here is what we genuinely offer:

  • General information about teaching in Australia
  • Guidance on the qualification recognition process (AITSL and state registration bodies)
  • Connections to schools that may be a good fit for your background and preferences
  • Practical, general information on relocating to Australia (cost of living, housing considerations, settling in)
  • A point of contact for questions throughout your exploration
We do not provide legal, visa, financial, or immigration advice.
Registering your interest and receiving initial guidance is free of charge. If any costs apply at a later stage of the process, we will make this clear to you upfront and in advance. We will never apply hidden fees.
Schools complete our Partner Enquiry Form, outlining their subject or year-level needs, school type, location, and preferred timeframe. We review all submissions and, where there is a potential match, facilitate an introduction to qualified teachers in our network who have expressed interest in Australian opportunities. From that point forward, the school manages its own process entirely.
We are a facilitator. We provide a structured channel for introduction and information — nothing more.

We do not manage applications, conduct interviews, or make hiring decisions on behalf of schools. Once an introduction is made, the school and teacher proceed entirely independently. We have no ongoing role in the employment relationship.

No. We do not employ teachers, and we are not a staffing agency.

Teachers introduced through our platform are independent individuals exploring their own career opportunities. Any employment relationship is formed directly between the teacher and the school. We have no role in that relationship.

When a school submits a Partner Enquiry, we review the requirements and reach out to relevant educators in our network whose background, experience, and preferences may be a potential fit. We facilitate the initial introduction — typically via a brief, shared profile or a direct introduction by email. The school then takes the process forward entirely independently, applying its own interview and selection processes.
All teachers in our network hold formal teaching qualifications from their home country and are registered or accredited educators in their respective jurisdictions. Many hold Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Education or subject-specific disciplines. We encourage schools to conduct their own due diligence on any teacher's qualifications, as they would with any candidate. We do not verify or warrant qualifications on behalf of schools.
We encourage schools to complete the Partner Enquiry Form and begin a conversation. Any applicable costs will be communicated clearly and upfront before any commitment is made. There is no obligation arising from submitting an enquiry.
